Maja Miličević Petrović

Maja Miličević Petrović is an Associate Professor in Linguistics. She spent around ten years working at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade, and she moved to the University of Bologna in 2020. She primarily works on linguistic aspects of different bilingual situations and different linguistic varieties (second language acquisition, translation, computer-mediated communication), combining experimental and corpus-based research methods. She is very interested in the modernisation of the way linguistics is taught at universities, especially at the BA level, through innovative educational practices and the introduction of courses related to computational and statistical processing of language data.
